INTRODUCTION

Dear Colleagues! The present CD contains the electronic versions of contributions included into the scientific programme of the 9th International Workshop on Knowledge Management (9th IWKM) organized in Bratislava, October 17-18, 2014 by the VSM School of Management in Tren?ín in the series of specialized international workshops devoted to the broad context of the knowledge management.

The series of the workshops started in 2006. Our aim as the organizers was, and remains up to now, to intensify the exchange of ideas, approaches, concepts, experiences, and academic results of research in national as well as international contexts. Our desire is also to present useful skills, specific achievements and teaching methods in the broadly interpreted Knowledge Management theory and practice. This is why the participants are – and perhaps will be also in the future – grouped both from academic circles as well as from the practice of the knowledge management. We regularly invite experts from the neighboring fields, too. Such a specific area of 9th IWKM discusses relations between Knowledge Management and Arts.
